A patient of Huntington Beach Hospital has the right to express to any staff member, the Patient Advocate or a state agency, at any time, and without retaliation, a complaint or a grievance concerning care and treatment while in the hospital. If concerns cannot be resolved through the hospital, a patient, family member, community representative or employee of Huntington Beach Hospital has the right to notify Joint Commission regarding the quality of care provided, safety of care provided, or safety of the environment in which care is provided.
